At a crypto exchange, I worked on the core trading platform. I optimized the order processing pipeline — reduced p99 latency by 40% under peak load using lock-free structures in Go. I also designed a real-time reconciliation service that automatically detects discrepancies between our internal ledger and external exchange data, preventing financial losses — this is very close to ensuring reliability and consistency of financial data, which is one of your key responsibilities. I also built a Rust microservice for high-speed binary protocol parsing to integrate new liquidity providers without losing performance.

Ownership and distributed systems:
At an e-commerce company, I owned backend services from design to production.
